- Place a piece of scotch tape diagonally from the corner of your eye to the end of your eyebrow; where you want the wing to be placed. (Stick the piece of tape on the back of your hand and remove a couple of times to weaken the tackiness of the tape. This will prevent it from being painful when peeling off.)
- With either a brush or liquid eyeliner draw the wing starting from the corner of the eye and follow along the tape. End at your desired wing length.
- Remove the piece of tape. You should be left with perfect winged liner. Feel free to touch up where needed.
- You can also do this same technique holding a credit card where the tape would go. Sometimes this works better if you have already applied your face makeup as to prevent any splotches on the face (the tape will lift up any makeup leaving you with an uncovered spot on the side of your face.) This is the same idea as using a ruler to draw a straight line.
